I caught up on Armed Librarians - The Book of Bantorra. No. I don't... really get the show, but I was torn between really liking the OP animation and thinking they were being hella cheap. They changed it to a more standard OP at episode 5, but ffff ALI-Project did the OP. But on another note... Tatakau Shisho? ....I swear Armed Librarians isn't a direct translation, BUT WHATEVER.

I lost my cellphone. ~_~ I actually lost it last Saturday. It's probably outside of Pan's house where I tripped on some random tube in her little rock garden thing because that's the ONLY place I haven't checked for it out of the 3 it could have been. But it's been pouring rain [or at least raining constantly] for the past 3 days? Totally a lost cause. The best I can hope for is to recover it and get the sim card out or something. Since I have insurance [haha, I always get it and finally I get to use it \o] I only pay 30 bucks to get it replaced. Considering I just HAD it replaced because of some weird problem, I'm actually more annoyed than not to have to get another one, even if I didn't have to pay anything before. It was in brand new condition.




Aaaand I replaced the band-aid on my finger. Quite deep, and there was this dried globule of blood on the side where it squeezed out from the band-aid XD;; But I super carefully pulled it off before peroxiding that shit to death again. e__e And then I added anti-bacterial cream to a band-aid and stuck that shit on and taped it up so it's sealed. I auto-compensate already and don't use my index finger to type. So my typing will get worse, and I didn't think that was possible >_>;;

So. I cut myself on the slicer today at work. I cut off the pad of a finger, quite a nice little slice, too. Down to the delicious white meat. And it wouldn't stop bleeding. :|

I peroxided that bitch to death, put on a band-aid..... aaaand it kept bleeding. >_>;;; Went to the pharmacy, she put a cotton ball on it, told me to keep it elevated. 8D Kept bleeding.

She resorted to a military grade clotting band-aid that has some weird whatever it has on it [coagulate?] to stop bleeding. It worked \o/

It cost six dollars.

Aside from being a little ache-y from 12+ hours in bed, I'm just annoyed that I didn't wake up at, like 10 or something.

More Health Care stuff /o/ *shoots myself*

There's just a lot of things that I wish could/would be changed and things I think shouldn't be changed. ( Long winded complaining/thinking under here )

I know I can't be the only person who's tired of hearing about the health care bill. Or anything about health care in general. Personally, even though I'm totally for reform, I think this is going to fail hard core. Their intentions are [supposedly] good, but I think they're going about it wrong.

And by wrong I mean doing it too damn fast.

I've been reading the paper, and you know, one person had this idea. I think he based it off of the Swiss health care plan? Who knows. But don't make companies pay for a person's health care. Have it so that each individual person/families, go and buy their own health care. Then instead of corporations getting the tax credit for giving their employees, the citizens get it because they're the ones who bought it. I think that's a pretty decent idea, or at least to me.

Everyone is talking about making it competitive and yadda yadda, I think that would be the most competitive. Especially if people could shop across state lines for care. You can get your care from anyone in the nation. There would be a bajillion different plans [not that there aren't now e__e] and you could find one that fits you perfectly. It'd be like shopping for car insurance.

Then it would be all on that person to find insurance for themselves. And you know, TECHNICALLY, since that big expense isn't being paid for by the companies anymore, they should be able to pay their employees more. [I doubt they would. Straight into their profit margin get] And small businesses without insurance, well... It would stay the same for them. Their employees had to go buy their own anyway, but now they'd have better options.

I dunno. I'm just regurgitating what I read and trying to make sense of it, but I guarantee that whatever they're trying to do now is going through so fast that there are bounds of extras snuck in there [like the stimulus] and some things have loopholes, regulations are too biased against [and for] certain people.

*shrugs* Aa well. It'll happen. Perhaps I'll write to my senators. I doubt I'd get a response, but fff. What would they say besides 'We're glad you're following the debate, and we will give all ideas their due time on the floor of the Senate =D'.

Even though I didn't go to the store today and get some like usual. We had a shitton left, so I'm just going to eat that XD The only thing extra I'd get is baby ruths. Mmmm.

Sometimes, you just have to jump back into RP to remember just how fun it was. I haven't had so much fun tagging with Yukino in a long time and I missed it. I think I'm just going to work on making some delicious s-links with her instead of trying to bring in someone else. I haven't ever been good at balancing characters in RP anyway, even if it's only two per game.

Since the Kitchen and Deli schedules are in different places [my entire schedule is on the Deli sheet but only my Kitchen shifts show up on the Kitchen sheet] he's like, 'You don't work Saturday =o=' I'm like 'I do =o= But no idea what time. It's Deli though.' He wanders over like ':|' to look at it. I shifty eye, except not really because I was cleaning the slicer so I could go the fuck home \o/ He comes back, 'Now you're kitchen, 6-2:30 paninis'. My response: '...D:? Oh well, whatever =o=' As long as The Area Manager doesn't come back from nursing her child with the flu [fff, I don't know if it's swine flu or not, I kinda didn't pay attention] and go 'D<' at the schedule being changed, I don't really care. She wouldn't go D< at me anyway. I didn't exactly volunteer for it XD; But I was going '.__.' at only having 29-30 hours this week. Well, now it's 32 \o

Fairy Tail was okay, but I 1. didn't like the animation/character designs; 2. Lucy's voice was okay, but I didn't think Natsu's voice fit; and 3. I felt like I was watching the shounen's version of maho shoujo with all the magic circles and stuff whenever they do magic. It kinda makes sense, but... no. Animation filler do not want. D: I won't be watching the show anyway, so I shouldn't complain. Just remind me when Erza comes in so I can vote on her voice =o=



Black Lagoooon. I've been reading the manga recently... because I have a serious hard on thing for Balalaika. |D Revy's good, too. The amount of girls in the series who kick ass makes me feel warm inside. But seriously, somewhere around this chapter, Rock started turning into one sexy manipulative bastard. I prefer it, but it's weird. This whole arc of the story has him sliding downhill fast. I wonder if he's going to change back at all. I doubt it, and I hope he doesn't...

So, I was training to make paninis at work monday and tuesday~ Mmm. Paninis~ And I like it. Or maybe I just prefer coming in at 6am and leaving at 2:30. Nfu. Probably that. I'm on the schedule next Tuesday for paninis too..... but it doesn't say anything about training, so I'm hoping Michelle didn't put me there by myself. *fucks it up*

And why do all of my grandfather's appointments take AN HOUR or more longer than what I planned for. Scheduling two hours out of my day for a doctor's appointment SHOULD be enough. But no. We get there at... 10? 10:15. Get called in immediately. SIT FOR AN HOUR at least. Then the doctor comes in and tells us the shit we already know that my grandfather doesn't want to hear [that surgery is a really bad option and he should be happy with what he fucking has] and then leaves. It didn't even take 15 minutes. Maybe not even 10. We left at 11:50.

WTF were we waiting so long? What are doctor's DOING during that hour that you waited? Why do you have an appointment at a certain time if they never see you at the appointed time? And why do they dare to charge you money for BEING LATE when if you're on time, you have to sit.

I hate the words 'customer service' but goddamn they need some better service. I'm not paying 100 dollars just so you can talk to me for 15 minutes. You better sit down and have a glass of wine or something.

I'd planned on being home at 12 -hahaha fml- to take a nap for an hour before work, since I went to bed at 4-5am, and had to wake up at 8:30. Even though I don't leave for work until 1:40. My mother didn't want to go alone, but I really saw no point in my going, even now. I got to the house late [9:30 vs 9:15] and he had just finished getting ready. Ffff. And that's why I wasn't on time, mother.
